Pete Seeger's Peace Doves fly over Moelln, Germany

I got an email from our friend, Jorg, who organized the Barnstormers last European tour, letting us know that the Peace Doves we left with him were used at a Unity Rally in his hometown of Moelln after a Neo-Nazi desecration of a Mosque.  The community came together for a march through the streets and the Peace Doves were strung across the street in front of the Mosque as a symbol of Peace & Unity.

Pete Seeger - "Well May the World Go"

Sad news...Pete Seeger died today at age 94.

Pete was a great influence on us as the Peaceweavers and as individuals.  His songs will live on as will his legacy.  He left us a Hammer, a Bell & lots of great songs to sing!

His song, "Well May the World Go, When I'm Far Away" was played on NPR.  His Grandson said he was out splitting wood just a few days before he went to the hospital!  May the songs he shared live on and inspire future generations as well!

Keep on Singin'!

After the program, Brynda & I were talking with Pete about our new "Peaceweavers" program and he told me of a paper dove…
